Motorcycle Ride and Picnic to Help Dad Battling Cancer

Eric's Victory ride in Schnecksville will help raise money for Eric Orth, a married father of four with Hodgkin's lymphoma facing numerous medical bills.

A motorcycle benefit ride and community picnic will be held Sunday at the Schnecksville Fire Company to raise money to help a local man defray costs in his battle against cancer.

Eric Orth, a married father of four who lives in Schnecksville, has been battling Hodgkin's lymphoma for four years and faces numerous medical bills, according to the Facebook page, Praying for Eric.

Tickets for Eric's Victory benefit cost $20 for adults, free for children 12 and under. The event includes food, beverages, music, games, raffle and live entertainment.

The menu includes pulled pork or chicken sandwiches, coleslaw, corn on cob, baked beans and refreshments (beer included with ticket from 1 p.m. to 3 pm).

Motorcycle staging begins at 10 a.m. Ride leaves promptly at noon. There is no additional fee for the ride. Picnic starts at 1 p.m.
