No Tax Increase Expected in 2013 for North Whitehall

North Whitehall Township Manager Jeff Bartlett proposes a $4.4 million budget with no tax increase to supervisors on Monday.

North Whitehall's $4.4 million 2013 operating budget reflects reduced revenue and expenses and a balanced bottom line. It will be available for public review at the township administration building on Nov. 10.

Township Manager Jeff Bartlett said there are no changes to operations or day-to-day activities.

"We massaged the numbers a lot to figure out where to cut and where to raise money," Bartlett said.

He said improvements to the playground behind the administration building will probably be back-burnered for now and some permit costs might increase slightly - around $10.

Contracted pay raises, maintenance costs and other operating expenses are accounted for in the budget.
