LCCC Teaches Fitness for the Body and Soul
Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) teaches how to keep the body and soul in shape through dance and workout classes, held at LCCC’s main campus in Schnecksville or in partnership with Whitehall High School (WHS).
Learn Hula Hoop dance and fitness beginning Weds., Oct. 2 through Nov. 6, from 7-8 p.m. for a fee of $60 at WHS. Held at the same site, Hypnosis for Natural Weight Loss features published author and professionally trained and certified hypnotist John Raven, who will teach how hypnosis can help change your body and help achieve weight management goals. Class begins Weds., Oct. 30 through Nov. 6, from 7-9 p.m. Cost is $45.

Other exercise courses include: Piloxing, combining Pilates, boxing and dance, held Weds., Oct. 30 through Dec. 11 from 6-7 p.m.; Turbokick, a combo of kickboxing and dance moves, beginning Thurs., Oct. 10 – Nov. 4 from 7-8 p.m.; and Zumba Senato for core strengthening using a chair, held Mon., Oct. 7 through Nov. 11 from 7-8 p.m. Each class costs $60 and is held at the college’s main campus.
