Tickets go on sale next week for four-time Grammy Award winning American Idol judge Keith Urban, who has joined the lineup of stars that will play the main stage at Musikfest 2014, ArtsQuest has announced.

Urban will bring his “Light The Fuse Tour 2014” to the Sands Steel Stage at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10, the last day of the festival.

Tickets are $75 and $65 and will go on sale to the public on Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m., at www.musikfest.org and 610-332-3378. ArtsQuest members can buy them starting Tuesday, Jan. 14, also at 10 a.m.

Urban’s concert will showcase his hits, as well as music from his new CD, Fuse, which was released in September and debuted as the No. 1 selling album in the nation in its first week. That album has already produced two No. 1 singles, “Little Bit Of Everything” and “We Were Us.” A third single, “Cop Car,” was recently released to country radio.

Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, Urban moved to Nashville in 1992.

He has sold more than 15 million albums and recorded numerous No. 1 hits including “But For The Grace Of God,” “Somebody Like You,” “Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me,” “You’ll Think Of Me,” “Days Go By,” “Better Life,” “You Look Good In My Shirt” and "Sweet Thing."

In addition to Grammy Awards, Urban has been honored with Country Music Association Awards, Academy of County Music Awards, a People’s Choice Award, an American Music Award and Australia’s coveted Aria Award. He was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2012.

Joining Urban at the show will be singer-songwriter Brett Eldredge, the Illinois native whose 2012 single, "Don't Ya," made the Top 5 of Billboard’s country charts.  Eldredge first hit the charts in 2010 with the single “Raymond,” and his first album, Bring You Back, was released in summer 2013.

This is the third main stage act announced for the 2014 festival. The Avett Brothers will perform Thursday, Aug. 7 and Alan Jackson will appear on Aug. 8.
