LCCC Students Place Third in State Competition

Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) students placed third in Pennsylvania’s state competition called Student Nurse Challenge. Students from across the Commonwealth attended the SNAP (Student Nurses Association of PA) convention November 20 – 23, at the Harrisburg Hilton & Towers and were asked NCLEX style questions in a "quiz show" format. Competition included long standing diploma nursing programs, colleges and universities who offer BSNs and other associate degree programs.

The following Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) students recently attended the State SNAP convention where they received the Gold Achievement Award, recognizing LCCC’s chapter for their increase in SNAP enrollment and student participation. They were joined by LCCC’s Faculty Advisor, Gail Cummings, MSN, PMH-APRN, who was awarded the SNAP Faculty Advisor of the Year Award.
