Curtis E. Schneck, 50 Years of Residential & Commercial Excellence

SCHNECKSVILLE, PA (June 24, 2014) – Curtis E. Schneck, Inc., noted award winning builder,  is celebrating 50 years of custom home building and commercial construction in the Lehigh Valley.

Founded in 1964 by Curtis E. Schneck, the builder is known for its innovative design and quality building techniques and materials.  Today,  Mr. Schneck remains at the helm of the company, and is currently designing and constructing custom homes at Fairland Farms, his latest development in Schnecksville. In addition, the company builds homes on private lots, or will assist in a home site.

The firm is a champion of such inclusive building principles as Aging-in-Place, also referred to as Universal Design, a functional and equally aesthetic design philosophy that enables people of all ages and abilities to live in a home or work environment that will adjust to their lifestyle as they grow older, or  as their needs evolve.

        Equipped with an innovative and rigorous work ethic,  Mr. Schneck, who grew up on a local farm, has helped the company earn numerous building awards over the years. He is also a devoted volunteer and key board member for numerous trade and community associations.

Recent accolades include the Lehigh Valley Builder Association’s “Best Architecturally Designed Home.”  This award was earned with a spacious private residence with expansive light-filled kitchen, spacious garage, two sided stone fireplace and second floor veranda. The award-winning New Tripoli home also boasts abundant energy efficient windows, brick construction and panoramic views of the rolling hills and countryside.

Curtis E. Schneck was also awarded best “Commercial Building Project in the Lehigh Valley,” for construction of the modern McDonald’s in Schnecksville in 2012.  The project utilized exterior stone veneer and rough block construction. The interior features custom wood detailing with ceramic and glass tiles, accented with columns for a contemporary, cozy design.
