Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will offer EKG Technician noncredit courses this semester. LCCC’s Carbon Center course begins February 20 and the Donley Center’s class starts April 24. Both are held Weds. & Fri., from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost is $699; text additional.

Students will learn the necessities to be a technician in a healthcare facility, as well as medical disease processes, terminology and ethics while they become CPR certified. Topics covered include performing electrocardiograms, learning heart anatomy and physiology, electrocardiography, echocardiography, holter monitoring, and stress testing.
